Sigmatex Announces changes to Management Team
Runcorn UK: In its continuing efforts to provide an even better service to their customers, and to help Sigmatex realise its full growth potential in the exciting markets that they serve, Scott Tolson, Managing Director of Sigmatex recently announced the following changes to the UK Management Team.
Tracy Smith joins Sigmatex in the new role of Supply Chain Manager. With over 20 years’ experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Tracy commented, saying “I am looking forward to joining the team at Sigmatex to work on the processes in and around the supply chain to ensure we meet the expectations of our customers both now and in the future. A qualified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma techniques I am hoping to streamline processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency, which will support the future business growth”.
Tracy will be working closely with our suppliers and customers with a clear focus on achieving significant improvements in our on-time delivery performance as the business grows.
Scott Murray has taken up the new role of Operations Manager. Scott has worked in Sigmatex for more than 12 years and has an excellent knowledge of all our products and processes. He will be working very closely with Tracy in ensuring we meet current demands and have ample capacity to achieve future demands as our business grows.
Chris McHugh has taken over as Technical Manager. Chris has been with Sigmatex for over three years during which time he has developed Sigmatex 3D weaving capability. He has over 20 years textile experience and will head up the growing technical department as Sigmatex continues to focus on developing new materials to meet the demands of our customers and the growing markets for carbon fibre composites.
Chris commented on his recent promotion, saying “to receive notification of my advancement to Technical Manager at Sigmatex was very exciting news. This now gives me the opportunity to work with the Technical Team in moving Sigmatex forward and ensure our position as World Leaders in Carbon Fibre Conversion continues.”
