Introducing Reebok CCM’s New Hockey Stick at JEC World
Sigmatex, the world’s leading independent converter of carbon fibre, will exhibit in Paris at JEC World (next month between 12 – 16 March) – the largest composites networking event. Sigmatex develops and manufactures technical textiles for composite material applications and will be in hall 6 on booth G5.
On stand at the exhibition, Sigmatex will reveal one of Reebok CCM Hockey’s new 2017 sticks – SuperTacks 2.0. The stick utilises sigmaST – Sigmatex’s Spread Tow carbon fibre and is designed to achieve maximum performance through lightweight, precision and strength.
Outperforming its predecessor, the stick takes full advantage of sigmaST’s performance properties. Providing near zero crimp, sigmaST allows for a thinner laminate than traditional 2D textiles whilst achieving the same strength. Behind the look of the elite checkerboard finish, sigmaST provides improved coverage making for a stronger stick capable of delivering a harder hit.
In addition to end use products, Sigmatex will exhibit a range of its innovative carbon fibre textiles including its advanced woven solutions, 3D woven preforms, Unidirectional, Spread Tow, Multiaxial and its latest offering to the market – Recycled Fabrics.
JEC expects to open its doors to over 37,000 visitors this year. It offers the essential platform for sharing knowledge and networking within the composites sector.
